From the very beginning, Jacob Nolley was an innovator and entrepreneur. From his first business venture at the age of 5, providing lawn care services to his neighbors, to building out technical automations to help trades workers succeed, he has never stopped finding ways to help those around him in new and exciting ways.
While he was working as a dispatcher for a family-owned HVAC company, he began to see the gaps that exist between the CRM systems most trades businesses use and the actual needs of his company. Jacob spent hours watching lectures on coding and taught himself how to build software and develop much-needed automations that would help him to complete day-to-day tasks more efficiently and effectively, as well as streamline the processes of others at the company. He realized what the trades business needed most: software that would save countless hours of a business owner’s time by integrating with their CRM and automating processes that could be performed digitally instead of manually.
This was the genesis of The Graphite Lab. Founded with a vision to transform the service trades industry through digital innovation, Jacob and his team have developed a toolbox of AI and automation microservices that seamlessly integrate with existing CRMs, revolutionizing how service trades manage their operations and engage with customers. To find out more, head over to https://www.thegraphitelab.com to find ways you can elevate your business with the help of functional AI.

Brad Murray's story begins in Covington, Indiana, where he was born and raised. Growing up in a household with a father who worked shifts in a factory and a mother who was a school teacher, Brad developed an early understanding of hard work and community.
In 1999, he made the move to Indianapolis to attend Purdue Indianapolis. A few years later, in 2002, he married his high school sweetheart, Jen. Their family grew significantly in 2007 with the arrival of their quadruplet sons, Henry, Brooks, Clark, and Isaac, followed by another son, Hudson, in 2016.
Brad initially spent six years working in Civil Engineering as a CAD tech at Woolpert. When the opportunity arose in 2009 after a layoff, he decided to venture out and start his own business. Over time, and through some name changes, this endeavor evolved into what is now Inspire Website Design, which he co-owns with his business partner, Wade Danforth. At Inspire Website Design, the focus is on collaborating with clients to develop custom website solutions, helping them enhance their online presence, attract more visitors through search, and convert those visitors into sales.
A significant step in their journey came in 2020 with the acquisition of Scale Squad, a company providing white-label website development and hosting services. Since then, the hosting footprint for Scale Squad has expanded from around 800 websites to 1300. The team has also grown, with five members based in the US and eleven in the Philippines. Scale Squad's aim is to support other website design agencies across the US by offering wholesale pricing for website builds and hosting, allowing them to serve their clients efficiently and profitably
Brad is always open to connecting with organizations to discuss their digital marketing needs. He offers a free 30-minute online marketing strategy session, which you can arrange via his Calendly link. No one is really SELF-made

No one ever gets to where they end up alone. Instead, whether we like it or not, we are a culmination of all of the people who have come before us.

Acknowledging your path to this point is more than a stunt to make you seem humble or even just an exercise in gratitude. While humility and gratitude are powerful, taking note of the assistance and support you’ve had on your entrepreneurial journey is a strategic move. When you create the habit of being grateful for your past partners you’ll also begin the habit of acknowledging the positive relationships that are in your life today, and even the ones that are to come. We Make A Difference Together that far surpasses anything we could do on our own.

Pay It Forward

So, in honor of the fellow business owners in your life that had an impact on you becoming the person you are today, let’s celebrate them.
