Episode#5: Alex Goga - Gogalex

Alex Goga was born and raised in Romania and moved to the US in 2004. After attending Wabash college and starting a family with his wife Emilee, he became a US Citizen in 2016.

His professional background includes individual contributor roles for large enterprise companies like RJRT (Territory Manager) and First Data (Project Analyst), as well as fast-growing companies like DB Services (FileMaker Developer). Roughly 10 years ago, Alex made the choice of focusing on data analytics software development. After an in-house role with Fuzion Analytics (BI Developer), he became an Implementation Consultant at Qlik. He gained experience providing business intelligence solutions with Qlik products (QlikView, Qlik Sense, and NPrinting) to a variety of businesses in various industries like pharmaceutical, healthcare, energy, consumer goods, services and others. This role inspired him to take the next step on the entrepreneurial journey.

Alex started his first business, Gogalex | Business Intelligence Solutions in 2017, following his childhood dream of using technology to make people's lives better. In 2022, Gogalex turned 5-years old and has grown to include a global team operating from 4 continents, continuing to grow and make good on its mission to enable businesses to make the best decisions with data.
